Trip to David Zwirner Gallery | New York

Hi there,

It’s been months, but I am fine, not dead… yet. So, in my last post I hoped to do my favorite looks from the NYFW and I am yet to do that post, but it should come sometime over the holiday. Better late than never right!

My friend and I went to New York on a trip explore as much as we could. We visited the David Zwirner Gallery to view the Yayoi Kusama: Festival of Life exhibit in Chelsea close to Pier 59 studios, a beautiful location by the water.

We waited in line for approximately four hours in the cold (never in my life again,) but it was so worth it. Upon entering the building, we were greeted with pristine white walls, and we were then guided down to seats where we were to wait to be sent into a room filled with stainless steel balls hanging from the ceiling. We only got to stay inside that room for about 30 seconds and then we were asked firmly to leave (think of all the good photos I could take if I were in there much longer).

Next, we were guided and instructed to place white bags over our shoes to enter the first of the two Mirror Room where we were able to look through a tiny circular hole to look at more balls that reflected my forehead a million times over.

In the next Mirror Room, I got the chance to witness the colors of miniature lightbulbs change colors (like that of a kaleidoscope) as seen below. The peepholes do wonder for the eyes and the camera. Click on the circles for the full photo.

I then proceeded to the Narcissus Garden, all dressed like a red and white polka heaven. It was very bright, simple yet very unique.

I then visited the next Festival of Lights exhibit that was all paintings with floral designs in the center of the room. I saw colorful paintings, and when told to pose for a picture, naturally, I had to do the most, because normal is overrated right.

Brooklyn was our next stop, and obviously, the couple photographed here were doing the engagement or wedding pics:

Then the Oculus, by The World Trade Center:

That was my time in New York, I wish I were a vlogger it would have made an excellent video. I took way more photos than necessary, and now my phone storage is about to run out. See you next time, Christmas definitely and have a wonderful (time of) day!

Stay Fabulous,

Tiffany Takes New York Fashion Week (NYFW) 2017

Hey there!

So I went to a couple shows at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in the space of two days! It was so much fun and so exciting, because it may be my first and last experience there!

I went on Septemeber 7th by myself and then on the 9th of September with my friend. The first day I wore a black wool dress and black matching boots completed with a denim jacket with fur.  I felt booujee, and I even went backstage for the Sachin + Babi fashion show to do an interview with the manicurist. I felt hella important.

I then went to Times Square and a wonderful woman was kind enough to take the picture below for me!

My friend and I went this past Saturday, and some of the shows were not as fun as I had expected, but the experience was excellent, nonetheless. I wore a black low-cut velvet dress with bright floral designs all over the fit. The look was completed with a black hat and heels (not pictured) to match. I felt BEAUTIFUL.

Look at Tiffany doing things and going places! Yes, I was so excited and hype! My next posts will be some of my favorite street styles from the NYFW followed by some of my favorite looks from the models, so be on the lookout for that!

Until next time…

Stay Fabulous,
    – Tiffany ♥

*happy birthday Lizabeth!
