Spring Break, as I mentioned in my previous blog post, did not go as planned and so I decided to some activities around Philadelphia, so I decided to attend the annual Philadelphia Flower Show. This was my first time, but I had a blast.
The theme this year was Holland, and the presentation and layout were absolutely beautiful. I am not the hearts and flowers type of girl, but if somebody can make some beautiful creations with flowers, I’m all yours. The entrance was absolutely beautiful, as were the decorations and layout of the entire event.
The photos shown below are a display of how I made my way through the event.
The Entrance- There were a lot of bridges throughout the event, and a lot of crocs (for some weird reason unknown to me).
Naturally, I had to get a photo by the bridge because why not?
This ceiling decoration is decked out in rainbow colours. It was absolutely beautiful.
The bridges were beautifully designed, but I just had to rush and take these photos because my phone battery was losing life.
There were bicycles everywhere. This one was kind of interesting because everyone was asking why the bicycles, but I have since come to understand that it is like religion there to bike and is quite ubiquitous in the Netherlands.
This little sleeping basket was quite beautiful. It was in a standalone river that and it looked quite relaxing, but it was only on display, of course.
More bicycles and fruit and flower baskets for picnics on a bridge.
I met some of my long lost cousins along the way, and we struck a pose.
Then I saw this queen and her best friend killing the game. I mean, check out them poses.
This is what the back of homegirl’s dress looks like. Queen shxt right?
You know I HAD to get a photo.
Handmade Tulips. These were just beautiful. I tell you, people are mad talented.
I saw this little diamond in the rough, and I just had to capture the moment we shared with each other.
This experience made me feel like I want to be an artist. I suck at almost anything artsy, and I am not particularly a fan of flower or plants, but a girl can change her mind. The artistry was just fabulous experience, and it was so worth my time and money.
