Happy New Year! 🎉
Obviously, if you are reading this you have made it thus far.. Thank heaven right. So, you probably have read my previous post. I hope your year is off to a great start, I endeavor to have a year oozing with fun, positivity, happiness, and success.
I went to Penn’s Landing to view the fireworks at midnight with my friend. It was great. I had a blast but then i had to go home becasue it was cold. I am sharing some of my new year’s resolutions/intentions with you to begin my 31 days of January Blog Challenge that I have created for myself. They are listed in no particular order. Explanations follow, and some of them may have ways I wish to accomplish them.
Here goes a list of some of my New Year’s Intentions:
1. Complete this 31 days of January Blog Challenge successfully.
I am sometimes lazy to write, and I paid for this site, so it makes sense for me to use what I paid for right? So, I urge you to come back daily to see what shenanigans I have for you. You might think “She’s quite awful at this” or “Not too shabby, Tiffany.” Either way, I will find a compliment in there somewhere because who’s to stop me? The challenge is here (attach the link).
2. Save enough money to travel by myself next year.
So, next year, I want to travel to Europe or around the Caribbean area by myself. Next year I think I want to travel throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and the South Western United States. I really want to visit Cuba and take some bomb picture to share with you all.
3. Try to gain at least 30lbs by the end of the year.
I know this is a bit of a long shot for me. Highly improbable really. I have been trying for years, and it is yet to happen, but a girl can dream. My petite frame needs some work. Don’t get me wrong I have a beautiful body that I am quite happy with. I just need more fat on my body.
4. Be more productive/ Spend my time wisely.
I wish to only do things that will make me happy. I want to surround myself with people who contributes to my success and the betterment of my mental, personal and professional growth. So I vow to be more productive and not waste my time on frivolous things and people. If it wastes my time, I leave it behind.
5. Be nicer and more sociable with others.
I know when I talk to people I tend to be a bit standoffish. Most cases I am not familiar with the person, therefore, I am not comfortable. Other time, I just do not like the person that much. But this year I hope to have a better poker face so I can play nice and not sport the Resting Bitch Face (RBF). I will try to talk more and voice my opinion more (not that I think people will appreciate it). I often serve people a fake smile to play nice, and it hurts my soul.
6. Do extremely well in school.
I must step my game up to be the shit, and a sought after job candidate when I graduate from college. I hope to have a summer and fall internship or two internships by the end of the year. I need the experience, and I might even get a job offer when I do extremely well in said internships.
7. Upload more to my blog.
This is a way for me to look back at my life when I was older to judge whether or not II have changed and how much? For the better or, the worse? Also, I get to share my awesome self (bragging is my right as a Jamaican, not too much, though!) with other and you learn more about me. In case someone says…
8. Find some sort of success by the end of the year
9. Have a year filled with positivity
10. Be #FAPPY (Fat and Happy) by the end of the year.
Eight through to ten is with regards to my mental, emotional and physical well-being and health. I deserve it, and so do you. Take one of these intentions/resolutions and make it yours. And, I also aim to reflect on my actions to ensure I am accomplishing my goals for the year. Surround yourself with positivity and if its’s toxic throw it in the trash.
BONUS: ALWAYS DO ME!
I hope you all have your own New Year’s Resolution even you know you will not keep them. The intention is to at least try right. All the best in this New Year! Have a fun-filled year with people you like/love. If you don’t like them, cut them off #positivity. Make yourself happy and do you boo boo! do you!
Again, Happy New Year to you and yours.
Until next time….
– Tiffany ♥
